Face masks are encouraged for participants. They will be mandatory for spectators, coaches, and volunteers.

Participants will have their temperature checked upon arrival. Individuals with a fever of 100.4 or higher will be asked to leave the premises and will not be allowed back to activities for 14 days.

Coaches will conduct a cleaning of all shared equipment prior to and following each activity including balls, cones, pads, and jerseys.

Spectating Responsibly

Being a safe spectator means just being respectful for your own safety as well as the people around you. Many people have different levels of comfort with COVID-19. Here are the guidelines for spectators according to local , state , and USA Rugby guidelines:

  • Spectators are required to wear a mask at all times.

  • Gatherings should be limited to 10 or less- utilizing field space to spread is encouraged.

  • Maintain social distancing of 6 feet or more with individuals outside of your household.

  • Individuals showing symptoms of COVID (see Self Assessment) should not visit trainings or events.

Positive Case Reporting and Contact Tracing

Any individual testing positive for COVID 19 or experiencing symptoms after participating in a Huns Rugby practice or other event should contact andrewsmhay@gmail.com.

Contact tracing will include any individuals known to have come into close contact with the player, spectator, volunteer, or coach. Close contact is defined at 6 feet or less. These individuals will be contacted via email with contact notification. Confidentiality of the reporting party will be a priority.
